Now, don't you just hate it when you get your tape measure out next to your meat and things just don't live up to your expectations? This is a picture is of a "hog roast" sandwich that I bought at a Country Show this summer just gone. I paid £3.50 for it and instead of consuming this delicious little morsel I bagged it, tagged it and took it home for some analysis prior to consumption. It contained 2.6 oz (78g) of meat and as you can see the bun is a little over 3”.......

OK people, let’s compare this to a Bubba sandwich....  approx 6oz (180g) of filling held together in a big old roll that you can grab with both hands, all for £4.00! If you are out at an event this summer and you see us there then you know where to eat! If you don’t see us there then please ask the event organisers why we ain’t there! We are busy booking events for spring / summer and I will be posting details of our expected whereabouts very soon.

Firstly thank you to Lonnie "Bubba" Smith, his family and team - I have been truly blessed to know these guys and without their inspiration, trust and support I would not have been able to bring this idea to the UK.

After seemingly endless red tape and EU gone mad bureaucracy we have a stunning Bubba Grill 250 R double pit smoker here in the UK and we are cooking up a storm selling our Deep South style BBQ fare here in the UK. All too often American style cuisine gets bad press - and lets face it, the myriad of global fast food outlets selling industrially processed "food" to the busy masses do not paint a good picture of what our brothers and sisters from across the pond have to offer us. So we are pleased to be breaking that mould, and make no mistake, we are bringing something that is very unique here to the UK.

We will be selling our fare at an organised event near you - or perhaps at your wedding, family party or corporate event, wherever it may be there is one thing for sure, it is going to be good! For 2011 we will be launching our range of BBQ sauces and also be producing the first Bubba Grills deck grills for sale here in the UK - if you ain't cooking on a Bubba Grill then you ain't really cooking! This site is new and we will be constantly updating it with news, information and pictures. We will soon have the forum up and running so if you need to talk about BBQ then you know where to talk about it.
